PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 6490(b)(1), Notice is hereby given that the San Andreas Sanitary District (“District”) has voted to adopt Proposed Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment No. 1”) to Ordinance No. 8. Amendment No. 1 amends the following sections of Ordinance No. 8:

Section 4.7.B – Grants Discretion to the District Manager in calculating the capacity requested in a permit application.
Section 7.3 and 7.11 – Clarifies that the minimum commercial monthly sewer charge is calculated on the number of EDUs permitted.
Section 7.5 – Changes the calculation for the variable charge for commercial services to average water use from November 1 to April 30.
Section 7.10 – Deletes an unnecessary word.

On June 8, 2017, the Board of Directors of the District present voted unanimously to adopt the ordinance with the following Directors voting yes: President Todd Fischer, Michelle Turner, and Terral Strange. Directors absent: Bob Applegate, Don Young.
