Hugh Logan, was appointed District Manager of the San Andreas Sanitary District in November 2014. Hugh started his career in wastewater in 1991, serving 25 years in the operation, maintenance, and management of wastewater and recycled water facilities. He has achieved Grade V Certification for wastewater operations with the State of California and served 12 years on the California Operator Advisory Committee. Hugh recently completed the Utility Management Certification Program administered by the National Rural Water Association. He is also certified as T2 Water Treatment, a Project Management Professional (PMP), and Grade 1 Collections System Maintenance. Logan has served nationally with the Water Environment Federation and is a credentialed instructor for Energy and Utilities subject matter in California.
Hugh is originally from Alabama and came to California with the US Navy, serving at the Naval Air Station in Alameda. He and his wife, Sheri, reside in Valley Springs and have six (mostly grown) children and two grandkids. They worship in San Andreas, and enjoy participation with the Resource Connection, Calaveras Mentoring Program, and the County Animal Shelter. Hugh and Sheri like spending time in their gardens, bbq’ing with family, and, of course, Crimson Tide Football.
